Parental / Guardian Consent — Next Step Scout
This is the text shown to a parent/guardian on the confirmation page. The parent reads it and presses "I confirm" (a POST action); NSS records who confirmed, when, and technical evidence of that click. Opening the link alone does not grant consent.
Confirming consent for your child on NSS
Your child has asked to use Next Step Scout (NSS), a platform where young footballers keep a video profile and can, if they choose, be discovered by verified clubs, academies and scouts.
Because your child is under 18, we need your confirmation. Please read the points below.
By confirming, you agree that: 1. You are the parent or legal guardian of the child named in this request. 2. You consent to NSS processing your child's personal data as described in the Privacy Policy, for the purpose of running their account and video profile. 3. You give a separate consent to display your child's image and video on NSS (Lithuania Civil Code Art. 2.22 / Poland Copyright Act Art. 81), only within the visibility your child selects. The profile stays closed by default. 4. You understand that verified clubs/academies/scouts can see the profile only if your child chooses to make it visible, and that no adult can privately message your child — any contact goes through you or a verified academy. 5. You understand that today the developmental report on your child's video is written by a live coach (a person, not software); the video is seen only by the coach working on the report. The report is developmental in nature and uses no biometrics or face recognition. There is no AI-based processing today; if it is introduced in the future, we will tell you in advance and, where required, request consent, and children's data will not be used to train AI models. The coach aims to deliver the report within two days of receiving a video that meets the filming requirements (shot on a football pitch, correct angle and lighting). If the submitted video does not meet those requirements, the coach will ask for a re-shoot and the two-day period starts again from receipt of the qualifying video.
You can withdraw this consent at any time. Withdrawing the display consent immediately removes your child's profile from any listing. You can also access, correct or delete your child's data by contacting [email protected].
What we record when you confirm: the fact of confirmation, the date and time, and technical evidence (such as the IP address and browser of this confirmation) — as proof that a valid parental consent was given.

Withdrawal text (for the "withdraw consent" action)
You are withdrawing your consent for your child's use of NSS.
- Withdrawing display consent immediately hides your child's profile from all clubs and scouts.
- Withdrawing full consent deletes your child's account, all uploaded videos, and the full development history (test results, coach analyses, assigned exercises) — not just the video.
- You may request full deletion at any time before your child turns 18. At 18 your child makes that decision independently.
- Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing that took place before withdrawal.
Confirm withdrawal, or contact [email protected] for help.
