29%

of children who quit sport say the reason is that they decided they were not good enough.

Aspen Institute, survey of 3,827 children aged 10–17, October–December 2025.

Why NSS exists

Every other platform in youth football sells the same thing: exposure to scouts.

A child is filmed, ranked, and told where they stand in a queue. The ones who do not make the queue draw their own conclusion — that they are not good enough. 29% of those who quit sport name exactly that as the reason.

NSS assesses the test, not the child.

You get an assessment of one recorded performance: what happened in it, why it happened, and what to work on before the next one. No ranking against other children. No promises about clubs, trials or contracts.

What arrives

The analysis starts a development programme. This is the first in a series of steps that will be compared.

Not a score out of 100. Not a dashboard. A structured reading of the game your child actually played.

Professional AnalysisU15 · right winger · 12 min of match footageExample
WHAT
In 9 of the 11 attacking situations on the footage, the player received the ball facing his own goal and turned on the same side every time. Two of those turns were into a defender. First touch and passing under no pressure are solid — 14 of 16 passes completed.
WHY
The body position before the ball arrives is closed: the player is square to the passer, so the pitch behind him is invisible at the moment of contact. This is not a technique problem — the check of the shoulder is missing, not the touch.
HOW
  1. 1Receiving on the half-turn, both feet, 15 minutes per session, three sessions a week.
  2. 2Shoulder check before every pass in rondo — the coach can call it out loud for two weeks.
  3. 3Re-record after four weeks. The next analysis compares the same situation type.

How it works

Three steps. Nothing to install.

The platform is coming soon.

STEP 1

You send the footage

Tests, one minute per exercise, MP4 or MOV, filmed on a phone. As a parent, you send it — a player under 18 does not register anything themselves.

STEP 2

The footage is reviewed

The footage is reviewed by a real coach against a professional development methodology — not by a program. The written analysis arrives within two days of the moment we receive the video.

STEP 3

You train, then re-test

Four weeks later the same situations are recorded again and compared. Development is a line, not a verdict.

Safety

Your child is under 18. Here is what that means.

Four rules, in full, in one screen.

Read about Trust & Safety
  • You register. Not your child. A player under 18 does not submit any form or create any profile themselves. You act on their behalf. This is a deliberate choice — above the legal minimum.
  • Their profile is closed by default. Today it is seen only by you and NSS. An academy gets access only after the child is linked and you consent. Verified clubs and scouts will be able to see the profile only in the future — and only with your permission.
  • No adult contacts your child directly. Every contact goes through you or through the academy. Not through your child.
  • You can delete everything. Request deletion of all your child's data at any time. It will be done in full.

Send one video. See what comes back.

If the analysis tells you nothing you did not already know, you have lost ten minutes and a video.
